Fees and Rebates

The costs of standard psychological consultations/ counselling sessions are:

​

• $240 for 1 hour appointment

• $200 Concession, Pension and Student Card Holders

• Further discounted rates can be negotiated on an individual basis if you are experiencing financial difficulties

​

The consultation fee is payable in full at the end of each session, fees associated with non-standard consultations (e.g. 30 minute appointments) vary; please contact Bespoke Psychology for more information.

Medicare Rebates

​

Bespoke Psychology offers Medicare rebates of $93.35 per session. Medicare provides rebates for up to 20 sessions per calendar year for psychological services. To grant Medicare rebates for psychological services, psychologists require clients to provide a referral letter from a GP or psychiatrist (n.b. you will need to obtain the GP referral letter prior to your session, if you wish to claim it through Medicare). You do not need to obtain a referral from a GP if you do not wish to claim Medicare rebates.

Private Health Rebates

​

Some private health insurance policies include psychological/ counselling services. The rebate amount varies between companies and policies. You should check your policy inclusions with your health insurance provider, and determine whether they will provide rebates for the services offered.

Cancellation Policy

​

A cancellation fee may apply for cancallations made within 24 hours of an appointment, or for non-attendance.
